New Orleans Pre-Katrina - 1993

Our family (Dorothy, Cecile, Annette and our parents, A. Hews McCann and Cecile N. McCann) lived in New Orleans from 1941 – 1947, when we moved to Mourmelon le Grand in France.

My sister, Cecile, organized a “nostalgia” trip to New Orleans in the fall of 1993, which included herself, me (Dorothy), Denise and our mother. (Cecile N. McCann). It was wonderful being able to explore our past, and to be able to share our childhood with Denise who was not born until 1948, in Clinton, Iowa.
